Fall

Hello, Bloggies! And happy Fall. I just returned from a trip to Montreal visiting family. The leaves were on fire – orange, yellow, crimson. I couldn’t stop taking pictures. My cousin asked, “Do you not have trees in L.A.?” Oh, sure we do, but they are mostly green. It felt so good to get out of the monochrome and into dynamic scenery. It was really good for the soul. Aside from a little shopping spree, I did also return with the parting gift of Covid. I managed to avoid it for 2 1/2 years, but it finally caught up with me. Thanks to being vaxxed and boosted, it is presenting as an irritating but manageable cold. Still, I am following CDC recommendations and laying low/isolating for the next few days. Thankfully I’m still able to coach online, though my clients may hear a few ugly coughs.

Next Saturday is my second course in the Jungian Certificate Program I’ve enrolled in. If the second is anything like the first, it’s going to be epic. I’m so excited to immerse myself in this program and use the information in my writing coaching practice – symbols, dreams, the collective unconscious… it’s all relevant to writing projects.

That’s it for now. I hope you’re able to immerse yourselves in something you love – either changing leaves or educational programs. I look forward to being more in touch as we race to the new year.
